Rosa Ortega, 67, of Providence, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 2, 2020 in Johnston, RI. Born in Nagua, Dominican Republic, she was a daughter of the late Rafael and Juana (Rosario) Castillo.
She is survived by four children, Luis D. Tangui, Cecilia A. Tangui, Marlene M. Tangui, Myrla I. Tangui; ten grandchildren, Aldryn, Sasha, Joshua, Emely, Emilio Jr., Emicely, Kevin, Armani, Felipe, Melisis; and four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, November 6th from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 10:00am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence, RI. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Due to COVID-19, all are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. Live streaming will be available Friday.
